Brayden's First Day

2 Hours after Brayden was born, we were able to introduce Brayden to his family and friends! Truly a memorable experience for all and somewhat comparable to a paparazzi experience for Brayden in his first hours into the outside world and throughout his first weekend!!

Kim was certainly excited for everyone to meet Brayden and wouldn't have had it any other way, but I must recognize at this point she was extremely tired and still in a lot of pain after experiencing induced labor, which started at 1:00am. She had to push for 3 hours and 20 minutes that started at 12:45pm, and finally brought Brayden into the outside world at 4:05pm. It was quite admirable how Kim made such an unbelievable effort with Brayden being "sunny-side up." She didn't get discouraged, she stayed focused and determined and most importantly didn't swear or throw anything at me throughout it all!!..... In all seriousness, Dr. Chu told Kim after all was said and done that many women end up undergoing cesarean sections with their babies being face up and was proud of her and her efforts. As am I.
