Barefoot and Pregnant

Today we're in Week 29, approaching Week 30 on Monday. We had a visit to the doctor the last week in February and everything is looking good. Kim has been experiencing a little bit of nausea and cramping;luckily it's minimal as compared to the first trimester. For the past several weeks I've been able to put my hand on her belly and feel the baby moving. This past weekend, I SAW the baby move for the first time! It becomes even more of a reality when you witness something like that! It appeared to be the baby rolling over as Kim's belly had a bit of a ripple or wave-like look to it. She was at work the other day when she saw a limb of sort protruding - a lot more defined movement!

Oh Deer!

As the winter nears it's end, we see the deer a couple times a week. They tend to move a bit more looking for food...... I think they're just coming around to see if we've planted our hastas yet....
Oh deer, they're not going to be able to move through the woods as easily. The temps have gone up and the snow has gone down. In fact, it's gone in most areas of he backyard, although the ground is still cold (as you can see by the fog created the warmer air and colder ground).

Hard at Work

My parents came down to visit and my brother came up the first weekend in February. The women went out shopping for the day and the men were put to work. Assignment: build shelving in basement closet. As you can see by the picture, we had quite the mess in the closet.

Hard at work......

Now we can 15lbs of crap in our 5lb closet, rather 10lbs! Thank you to my Ol' Man and Brother who helped knock out the closet and few other projects throughout the weeked!!

"It's more about the pictures than the articles"

(Picture taken 2/15/09 - 27 Weeks)
My apologies, we haven't been giving you the updates as frequently as we should be. I ended up starting another blog to assist in advertising the Lake Orion house for Sale/Lease.
So here's my plug: if you know anyone looking for a house in the northern Oakland County area, let us know! As of today, our renter is not going to renew her lease. Yes, baby due May 18th; renter leaving May 31st....

To help in keeping our site a little more up-to-date, I'm going to try to post more pictures and less rambling from my end, which will allow this process to flow a little more frequently. As Kim and I were talking today, she told me it's more about the pictures than the articles. After hearing that, I thought to myself, "I knew I married you for a reason!" But then again, I wasn't equating her comment to the blog.........
